For our MA group show Don’t Pass Me By in Galleri Format, Malmö (November 2019), we produced work on the theme poster, initiated by our tutor Annika von Hausswolff. I decided to recycle the photos from Inventory/Inventering and created posters where I combined the photographs of the objects with text fragments from the If War Or Crisis Comes brochure. Only four months after the show, the corona pandemic hit the world and all of a sudden, the posters went prophetic. The objects in the photographs can't really help you when the crisis arrives but somehow they refer to everyday life and what we humans do to feel secure - we have our things and struggle with building up some kind of normality all the time, holding on to these objects. But together with the text fragments from the brochure, they seem even more lost and useless.
Important Public Announcement has also been exhibited in collaboration with curator Maja Kolarz as a part of Cracow Art Week 2021 in form of a scattered exhibition where the posters could be seen all over Cracow city and simultaneously in public places in Gothenburg.
